Welcome

Beginning with the first international conference in 1993, the purpose of CALMet has been to offer forums to share experiences, expectations, and new ideas for applying emerging technologies and strategies in meteorology education and training. CALMet conferences have served to build international working relationships that continue to have an large impact on meteorology education worldwide.

CALMet VII was held in Beijing, China, hosted by the Chinese Meteorological Adminstration Training Centre

This site is a home for CALMet activities, including:

• Information on the upcoming conferences (CALMet 2009 will be held in St. Petersburg, Russia, and hosted by the Russian State Hydrometeorological Universtity)

• General resources and links for meterology education offered by members
